Wild Animals Tearing Up Your Yard? We'll Put an End to It.

Unfortunately, many residents in the Tampa region find that their homes have become the new favorite territories of nuisance animals such as snakes, squirrels and raccoons. Fortunately, Omega Animal Removal is here to help.

The high season for infestation problems is the spring and summer when most of the animals are very active and breeding. The animals are on the lookout for the perfect places to nest and forage, and our homes are often their top choices. Many of the animals are most active at dawn or dusk, or are even nocturnal, so they are rarely seen by homeowners. Instead, it is the damage they cause that is most visible.

Burrows dug in yards, holes chewed in walls and mold resulting from urine are some of the most common types of damage that result from animal infestations. To check for signs, look for the following:

    • Dead or damaged grass and flower patches
    • Dug up dirt, gravel or debris
    • Holes in the ground, especially near your home’s foundation
    • Holes in your home’s trim and air conditioning ducts
    • Scratching sounds coming from the attic
    • Animal droppings
    • Shed snake skins

Remember that not all animals will leave the same signs behind. If you’re unsure of what kind of infestation you have, or if you have an infestation at all, it’s best to have one of our Wildlife Control Specialists do an inspection. We handle infestations of various animal species.

    SQUIRRELS

Squirrels are a notable fixture of many urban and suburban areas, and regularly use our attics as nesting grounds during the colder months and breeding season. They often chew through home exteriors and even electrical wiring, which can be a serious fire hazard.

    ARMADILLOS

Though armadillos are not native to Florida, they have become a common animal in the region’s neighborhoods. Armadillos love to dig, foraging for worms. Their digging can lead to the destruction of your yard. They also prefer to burrow next to home foundations, pools, decks, and other structures, all of which can crack if the burrowing persists.

    SNAKES

Florida is home to about 50 different snake species, 6 of which are venomous. Whether they’re venomous or not, snakes that have taken up residence in your home or yard may still bite, and can also be a danger to pets. Thankfully, they have not been known to cause significant property damage.
